Switching between the POV’s of Sam, a college student who strives to become a photographer and gets high on a regular basis to Aiden, a famous photographer who, wanting to escape his agency, decides to stop taking pictures and try out teaching a college photography course. When these two collide, their paths gradually become more and more entwined, taking you on a sexy, dark journey.
I haven’t read an erotica-romance novel in quite a while, let alone a teacher/ student relationship so this book was quite refreshing for me as just something new. I liked how we got to understand both Aiden and Sam’s way of thinking instead of trying to figure out what was going on in each of their minds. I also liked how short it was, but it left me wanting more so props to the author for that.
A few problems I had with the story was that the plot wasn’t the greatest, with no real climax it was building up to. I kept waiting for a big plot twist but to no avail, which really irked me.
Overall, this story was a quick read which I finished in about an hour and a half. It was enjoyable but not really my cup of tea.
